        New media has changed the way people create new types of art. Today, many artists and producers are starting to look at two completely types of genres and combining them to create something that is unique and new. In 1 + 1 + 1 = 1, Jones talks about how DJ Reset, a song producer, combined "Debra", a seventies soul music track with "Frontin'", a compilation of hard and upbeat computer beat. Both of these tracks are completely different in their style of music, but their one similarity, the tempo helped synchronize both of the songs to create something completely new that sounds pleasant to the ear.

        I believe that with the addition of new media, such as, music production software and even online galleries of art, people are able to expose themselves to new types of music and art without having the leave their house. This gives people the ability to mix certain aspects of a track or even combine two different types of art forms to create something new. With the addition of so many types of mediums to innovate new types of creativity, new media has helped many artists/producers shape the masterpieces that they have today.
