Creativity and New Media
One of the games that I have recently got into and is a perfect example of this is Don't Starve Together. It is a roguelike game based on survival mechanisms. In this game, one of the creative aspects of it is the wardrobe mechanic that allows the user to get creative with the design of the character and dress them up. Below is an example of some pieces of clothing that you could put on your character.

ReplyDeleteFor my post, I also used an avatar that resembles to me. I have this avatar trough the Snapchat app, which allows me to change the outfit, hair color, shoes, hair pieces, etc. The game you are mentioning and Snapchat allows us to get more creative. Since this game is about survival mechanisms, through the accessories and the outfit you used for you character, it will portray the strength of it; and that's the part where new media like this allow us to be creative.
